Wild Ducks - Oil Painting

Description: Culture Palace which is now demolished, in Taksim Square, İstanbul went up in flames that saddened me a lot.
When I wanted to paint this fire that I was blighted, I felt more upset while painting it, so I turned the flames into reeds.
Then came the wild ducks.

Story: The play which was exhibited in Culture Palace when the fire took place, the robe of Sultan Murat the 4th was being used. I still can’t understand how could they make such a mistake. It burned too. Worked with watercolor paint. I mixed it with plastic glue to add volume of the ducks. I glued the painting which I painted on paper, onto plywood, then onto the wood that i left 5 cm gaps on edges. Framed with wooden frame. I varnished on the picture.
